THE PARIS SEMI MARATHON
On the 7th March 2010, a team of over twenty runners, including Natalia Vodianova and Dinos Chapman participated in the Paris semi-marathon, in a fund-raising effort for the Naked Heart Foundation.

THE ROUTE
A start in the freezing cold from the Chateau de Vincennes saw all our runners (including our website design crew from Kin in naked-man suits!) take off at a healthy pace. The route took them through the historical heart of Paris, before returning to the Chateau for a very chaotic finish. Our runners performed very honorably, considering it was the first time for many of them, with most of the times ranging from 1h32 to 2h45. Natalia finished in a wonderful 2 hours and 19 minutes!

FUNDS RAISED
A lot of the runners had set up Just Giving pages, and thanks to these, and to our sponsor Viva, and to a few other main supporters, we have raised over £40,000 for the Foundation, which is a healthy addition to the budget for our 2010 building program.

THE AFTER-PARTY
In the evening of the race, our team all got together in the CafÈ Moderne for a hearty couscous and some well-deserved wine, before heading to a trendy bar at St Germain. It was heart-warming to have so many people gathered together in the interest of the Naked Heart Foundation.

This event has been such a success on all fronts, and we hope this will be the first in many races that the Naked Heart Foundation will get involved in! Thank you to everyone’s efforts on all fronts, and to the support and generosity shown to the Foundation.
