Ekaterinburg 2010 The Naked Heart Foundation and Louis Vuitton’s ongoing collaboration has facilitated playgrounds at three Ekaterinburg orphanages. In 2005, Natalia Vodianova founded the Naked Heart Foundation. The wish to bring play to children who are deprived of any safe space in which to live out their childhood games is what has driven Natalia ever since then. We have built 40 playparks, and have an objective of 500 all over Russia. This video shows the joy that these play parks bring to the children they are built for, and the involvement of Natalia in realizing these projects.
A connection through fashion and a shared desire to bring joy and happiness to children brought Natalia Vodianova and Lucy Yeomans together. It was on a trip to Siberia to open play facilities that Lucy witnessed Natalia's remarkable determination and commitment to the charity that she founded. Jamey Hargreaves of the fashion label, Julien Macdonald, was transfixed when Natalia spoke about her charity work at a conference hosted by the luxury goods industry. Jamey has been a supporter of the Naked Heart Foundation ever since, and says the formidable Ms. Vodianova is a constant source of inspiration to him.
